Have you desired a smaller, lighter battery for your GPX series detector?  Well now you can have it!   This is the all new Minelab GPX small battery, which aside from the run time,  physical size, and the weight,  is built with the same features as the standard size battery.   

In our experience this one lasts between 3.5 and 4.5 hours, so it is perfect for the short hunts and as a backup to your standard size battery.    The weight is only 46% of the standard battery,  so it is much easier to carry around than the original standard battery.

Also as an option, you can get this battery with a control box pouch, which serves two purposes.   One is to protect your GPX series detector, the other is to be able to mount the battery to the side of the control box.   By doing this you can eliminate the wire from the harness to the detector and gain greater freedom of movement when needing to dig the target or otherwise put the machine down.     Also note that the pouch adjusts to accept either this new small battery or the original full size battery.    (This pouch is not sold seperately at this time)
